OUR HISTORY
Established in 1956, JP Furniture is the Midwest’s most trusted names in custom furniture, upholstery and craftsmanship.
A Legacy of Crafstmanship
JP Furniture began with James Druk, who learned the art of upholstery from his father, part of a long line of skilled tradespeople who immigrated from Russia in the early 1900s seeking opportunity in America. With determination, craftsmanship, and a passion for quality, James built a business from the ground up—one that would become a cornerstone of the Midwest furniture industry.

The company was originally named for his first two children, it was eventually passed down to the next generation. Today, the business is proudly run by James’s son and granddaughter, who combine a design background with decades of hands-on knowledge, expanding JP Furniture into the commercial realm while honoring the legacy of precision, care, and dedication to every project.

Proof that hard work, skill, and a commitment to quality can turn a family dream into a lasting American success story.

Three Generations of Craft, Now Female Led
Now proudly female led and operated, JP Furniture combines this long-standing tradition with a fresh perspective, delivering personalized service and beautifully crafted furniture. Supporting our company means supporting a small, women-led business dedicated to American-made quality, lasting relationships, and excellence in every project. Through our blog, we share our leaders’ words, experiences, and ideas from inside the craft and the business.
