I am one of those annoying people, who think that they are capable of anything. And if it is something that I have never done before, I just do it anyway. I learn as I go and I make lots of mistakes. I love making mistakes. Honestly, it might be the only way I learn anything. But that could probably be left for a conversation between me and my therapist.

I was browsing the internet out of boredom, as one does. And WALLAH, I came across this amazing neon sign by GYIODFU. True custom furniture manufacturing requires an understanding of materials, construction techniques, and how furniture will live within a space over time.

Obviously, I had to have it. This beautifully crafted, witty little art piece was perfection. Although I felt like it was missing something. To really make this piece pop in it's new home, I had to balance the bright light with a dark accent. So this little project was pumped out over my lunch break, sketched rapidly on a graph paper pad covered in sawdust in the toxic unventilated air. I took a couple pauses to smash a sandwich down the gullet hole, but all in all it was a 45 minute labor of love.

We are all more capable than we give ourselves credit for. So Even if you have never done it before, remember that it doesn't mean you can't, silly.

Dude, just build it.
